Before you book

Rules and terms

Please read the safety rules and booking terms before confirming your swim session.

IMPORTANT: NO LIFEGUARD IS PROVIDED No lifeguard or poolside supervision is provided. You must supervise your own group at all times. Under 18s, swimmers requiring special assistance and non-swimmers must be actively supervised at all times. Our legal duties to you still apply.
Minimum two people required At least two people must be present in the pool area at all times during a booking. They do not both have to swim, but at least one person must be over 18.

1. Pool Safety Rules

All hirers and guests must follow these rules at all times:

  • No diving.
  • No running on the pool deck or surrounding area.
  • No glass items in the pool area.
  • No ball games or balls to be used at any time.
  • Do not use the pool if impaired by alcohol or drugs.
  • At least two people must be present in the pool area at all times during a booking. They do not both have to swim, but at least one person must be over 18.
  • Do not exceed the maximum occupancy of 6 swimmers in the pool.
  • Under 18s are only permitted to use the pool when accompanied and directly supervised by competent swimming adults.
  • When the pool is used by children under 16, a minimum ratio of one competent swimming adult to every four children must be maintained at all times.
  • Supervising adults must remain within the pool area and maintain constant visual contact with all children in the water.
  • Children under 18, swimmers requiring special assistance and all non-swimmers must be actively supervised at all times.
  • All party members aged 18 or over, including swimmers and non-swimmers, must sign a waiver before the swim session.
  • Any child or adult who experiences urinary or bowel incontinence must wear appropriate swimwear or a swim nappy.
  • Pool users must have a mobile phone with them at all times, or easily accessible poolside, in case of emergency.
  • CCTV is in operation for safety and security.
  • Do not tamper with pool equipment, covers, drains, alarms, gates, pumps, chemicals, rescue equipment, or electrical items.

  • Use the rescue/emergency equipment located in the pool house on wall next to entrance door. Then contact 07538643287.
  • Do not use the pool if you are ill with sickness or diarrhoea, or if any condition makes swimming unsafe for you or others.

2. Booking Agreement

By booking Anple Swim, you agree that your booking is subject to the price, booking time, cancellation, refund and complaint-handling information provided before you book.

Because this is a leisure booking for a specific date and time, you may not have a statutory 14-day cancellation right.

3. Your Responsibilities as Hirer

By booking, you agree to:

  • Ensure all guests receive and understand the pool rules before arrival.
  • Supervise all guests and children throughout the hire period.
  • Use the pool only during your booked time and for the booked purpose.
  • Stop and report any unsafe behaviour immediately.
  • Report any damage or safety concerns to us without delay.
  • Tell us before booking if anyone in your group has access, mobility, medical, or safety needs so we can confirm whether the pool is suitable.
  • Do not bring a paid instructor, therapist, or other supplier unless we agree in advance.

4. Safety and Refusal of Use

Under 18s are only permitted to use the pool when accompanied and directly supervised by competent swimming adults. Where children under 16 are using the pool, a minimum ratio of one competent swimming adult to every four children must be maintained at all times.

Supervising adults must remain within the pool area and maintain constant visual contact with all children in the water.

All party members aged 18 or over, including swimmers and non-swimmers, must sign a waiver before the swim session. Under 18s and anyone who cannot sign are covered by the hirer's waiver and responsibility for their group unless we ask for a separate waiver.

We may stop or refuse pool use where reasonably necessary for safety, water quality, equipment failure, emergency, or breach of the rules.

5. Property Damage

You are responsible for reasonable and evidenced repair, replacement, or additional cleaning costs where damage is caused by misuse, deliberate or reckless conduct, negligence, or breach of these rules by you or your guests.

We remain responsible for any loss or damage caused by our own negligence or defective facilities.

6. Liability

Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to the above, we are not responsible for loss, injury, or damage to the extent it is caused by your failure, or your guests' failure, to follow these rules or supervise children.

This disclaimer does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable legislation.
